The tech giant Google explained that they will make changes to achieve a more secure web. It is an entry that indicates that Google Chrome want to increase the security of each page in the address bar with an icon “HTTPS” and has never labeled web “HTTP” as unsafe. However, this is very close to change. Google Chrome 56 marked as unsafe “HTTP” pages that transmit passwords or credit cards. Moreover, this is part of a more ambitious plan to mark all “HTTP” web pages as unsafe. Currently, Google Chrome marks “HTTP” sites with a neutral indicator. However, the tech giant Google recognizes that this does not reflect the reality of these portals because when you access one of these pages, anyone on the same network can see what we do or change certain things without us realizing it. They also recognize that traffic has moved to HTTPS, but much remains to be done. Recently it has already achieved a milestone, which is the half the traffic of Google Chrome desktop runs through HTTPS. In addition, since they made a report on the use of HTTPS, twelve of the 100 most visited websites in the world has moved to this standard. Google explains that users do not perceive the lack of security icon as a warning. Therefore, they will start to explicitly state that we are not accessing secure portals. Its plan is to start with Google Chrome 56 from January next year 2017. This will affect the websites using password fields or credit card. In later they extended to more types of web, to reach all and further “HTTP” web pages or websites.
