The tech giant Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 has all the latest features, yet gives you a unique brand of design and functionality. However, this new laptop is already encountering some resistance, coming directly from Consumer Reports. The dispute between the tech giant Microsoft and Consumer Reports is well known. This well-known US consumer protection organization in the market where it operates has detected many problems in the tech giant Microsoft products, leading to high return rates. After several exchanges of arguments and numbers, Consumer Reports ultimately upheld its decision not to recommend Surfaces until the tech giant Microsoft was able to show that its equipment was more reliable and had fewer problems. Now that Surface Book 2 has arrived, many have been waiting for the opinion of this entity to consider their purchase. But Consumer Reports quickly showed its position by declaring that it refuses to recommend Surface Book 2. The agency refuses to make the expected recommendation, only because it has not yet tested the equipment and because, given past issues, it does not want to risk making a commitment. Here is what they stated “We will evaluate the performance of the tech giant Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 once we get it into our labs next month for testing, but we will not be able to recommend it. Our decision to withhold our recommendation of all Microsoft laptops and tablets is still in effect”. It may be that after these tests Surface Book 2 is listed in the list of recommended equipment and that finally, Consumer Reports’ position on the tech giant Microsoft and its products is once again positive.
